Teenage is the time where in you feel that you’re the misunderstood one. It feels as if your entire world is crumbling down because of the weight from all of your mistakes. Mistakes, which you never admit to have committed. You feel as if you’re the only one who is lonely deep down inside. But the fact remains, that we all are judged and misunderstood way too much and all we need is a little bit of care and understanding from people who won’t leave our side ever.
FROM THE PESSIMIST MINDS OF TWO TEENAGERS WHO ARE FED UP WITH THEIR LIFE BUT STILL ARE READY TO GO THROUGH AN ANOTHER DAY WITH A FAKE SMILE PLASTERED ON THEIR FACE. BOTH OF THEM HAVING SIMILAR PROBLEMS AND WANTING SIMILAR REMEDIES; KNOWINGLY AND UNKNOWINGLY.
He was sitting peacefully in his balcony on an old rocking chair looking at something he himself wasn’t aware of. He thought about how even though he was quiet and his surrounding was deprived of the noise, he found himself in utter chaos. Maybe it was his mind recollecting his past which was nothing short of the void he felt in his heart.
The past few months had been tough for him. Things had gone rough for him and the last thing he could do was to sacrifice his life for nothing. Everyone around him had noticed the silent turn in his behaviour but couldn’t do anything to make him feel better. Neither one of them could give him what he needed. Each one felt that they could never provide him. But they didn’t know that all he ever needed at this point was love and nothing else. All he needed was someone with whom he could share and in return gain assurance that everything was going to be alright and that they were going to be there for him. Always. But the past incidences had scarred him deep and he knew that he could never trust anyone again. He was now afraid of people and feelings; and that was something he couldn’t let out loud.
For the world she was just another teenager. Just another girl with fantasies and whims of her own. The girl who smiled a lot but seemed to hide a mystery beneath her.
She had trust issues but used to quickly get emotionally attached. That was her problem; she just gave her everything to each and every person that came along without giving it a second thought. And many a times people just left her. Some with a futile reason and some without one.
Yes, she did get hurt. Her heart did get pinched every time but she never talked about it and just tried to move on.
She was pretty. Not the kind of pretty where in you see a girl and go “wow. she’s damn gorgeous.” Her looks were humble, just like her spoken self. But only if anyone could know her internal self.
She was a disaster from the inside. A maniac, is what she always called herself. The one who wanted to destroy things worst than a tornado. Hurt everything and everyone around her. She tried but after all could never stop her thoughts. Her past troubles kept lingering a little more in her with each passing second; thus, creating more fresh and deep wounds that nothing could heal. But little did she know about life, her preconceptions keeping her distant from the things she loved from the within. Like, the basic idea of love. Unconditional and unrequited love.
